Panasonic AK-UC3000 Camera Firmware 3.02 Description

Changes:

- CAC Function for 4K
- Support for FBC (Flash Band Compensation)
- Support for LAN TRUNK. Data transfer between the camera and CCU at 1Gbps
- Support for Camera Menu operation via ROP. Camera menu displayed on CCU’s Preview Monitor and operated via ROP
- Digital Zoom Extender Function

Version display method:

- Connect the View Finder AK-HVF100.
- In case of no AK-HVF100, connect HD SDI 2 output to the monitor for displaying the Camera menu.
- Press MENU button. Select the item of menu with Jog Dial button.
- Each software version can be confirmed at item “VERSION” in DIAGNOSTIC menu.
- MAIN MENU (2/2) > DIAGNOSTIC > VERSION

Update procedure:

- Connect the View Finder AK-HVF100.
- In case of no AK-HVF100, connect HD SDI 2 output to the monitor for displaying the Camera menu.
- Insert the SD memory card into the SD memory card slot.
- Press the MENU button, and turn the SELECT dial button to display “MAINTENANCE”.
- Select “MAINTENANCE” and press the SELECT dial button to open the MAINTENANCE menu screen.
- Select item “UPDATE” and press the SELECT dial button. The update confirmation screen opens.
- Select “YES”, and pressing the SELECT dial button, update program is started and following message is displayed
- Software update takes approx. 40min. Do not power down while updating.
- When the update is completed, the message the camera will re-boot automatically.

About Digital Camera Updates:

Updating to a newer firmware version than the one already installed on your camera can improve the device’s overall performance and stability, resolve various issues, and add support for newly developed features or enhance existing ones.
