- Fixed a system bug where the TeraStation hangs if the unit was processing a high load while iSCSI was enabled.
- Fixed a system bug where created shared folders or RAID mode changes did not appear on the Settings screen if the TeraStation's factory default firmware was version 2.41 through 2.43. If this occurs on your TeraStation, update the firmware and initialize the unit's settings.
- Please consult your local technical support representative if you experience any problems caused by this firmware update.
- Do not turn the unit off until the update is finished. It will take several minutes. You will receive a message when the update is finished.
- USB drives are not mounted automatically after a firmware update. To mount them, unplug and then reconnect them.
- Connect the TeraStation properly and configure the TeraStation and a computer to run the updater on the same network subnet. The subnet masks should be the same and the first three numbers of the IP addresses should be the same. The last number of the IP addresses should be different.
- Close all applications. Also, stop or exit any firewall software.
- Extract the downloaded file and run "TSUpdater.exe". When a TeraStation is detected, an update window will open.
- Select the TeraStation to update if multiple TeraStation are connected.
- Click "Update" and enter the TeraStation's admin password.
- Click "OK".
- Transferring and updating the firmware will start. Wait until it finishes. The info LED will blink during the update.
- When the update is complete, a message will be displayed
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
