NVIDIA Tesla Graphics Driver 341.44 64-bit Description

New in Release 341.44:

- Driver update for the R340 branch
- Maintains CUDA 6.5 support.

CUDA 6.5 Toolkit Release note:

- MPS performance has been improved: launch performance has been improved from 7 to 5 microseconds; launch and synchronize performance has been improved from 35 to 15 microseconds.
- Performance has been increased for single-precision functions in CUDA 6.5
- Performance has been increased for double-precision functions in CUDA 6.5
- Performance of the double-precision square root function, sqrt(), was significantly improved for GPUs with compute capability 2.0 and above.
- Performance of the double-precision reciprocal square root function, rsqrt(), was significantly improved for GPUs with compute capability 2.0 and above.
- A driver packaging issue that forced users on Redhat and Fedora to ensure that the xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-devel package was installed has been resolved.
- The device memory heap size is no longer limited to a size of 4 GB.

- For Maximus systems (Quadro + Tesla in the same system), download the latest recommended Quadro driver.
- Quadro drivers are qualified for workstations and rendering applications, including Maximus configurations that use Quadro for visualization and Tesla GPUs for compute acceleration.
