D-Link DIR-842 revA Router Firmware 1.02.A05 EU Description

Enhancement:

1. Improve WPS/Reset button timing. WPS-PBC will start right after pressing 1 second, reset will be performed after 8 seconds of pressing.   
2. Improve wireless performance on Canada regulation.  
3. Improve QRS Mobile compatibility.

Problem  Resolves:

1. Clone WAN can now be set to original WAN MAC address after deleting the cloned MAC in management UI then save directly.
2. Upload configuration file to a DIR-842 will no longer change the WAN MAC address.
3. Graphical Authentication will stay enabled after performing wizard.
4. WPS-PBC will now be disabled when WEP is configured in wireless section.
5. Fix few occasion of schedule, applied to parental control will not work.

Firmware installation steps:

1. Download the latest firmware for your DIR Series router.
2. Once you've downloaded the firmware, open a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape and enter the IP address of your router (192.168.0.1).
3. Enter your username (admin) and your password (leave the field blank). Click on OK to enter the web configuration for the device.
4. Click on the Tools tab and then click on Firmware on the left-hand side. Click on the Browse button and browse to the .bin file you downloaded in Step 1. Highlight the file by clicking on it once and click on Open.
5. Click on UPLOAD to upgrade firmware. It may take a up to 30 seconds for the upgrade to complete. Click on Continue when it appears. The firmware is now upgraded.
