Teledyne LeCroy HDO6000-MS Oscilloscope BIOS Description

A BIOS update has been released for the motherboard contained within the HDO4000 and HDO6000 oscilloscopes. This updated BIOS prevents the oscilloscope from entering a state where is it unable to be booted under certain circumstances and also provides a fix for a problem where the oscilloscope display is incorrect when using the HDMI port to output video.

Directions to Install:

1. Copy the BIOS files contained within the HDO-BIOS-UPDATE folder to a USB key.
2. Power on the oscilloscope and exit the oscilloscope scope application by clicking File -> Exit.
3. Insert a memory key into the oscilloscope USB port.
4. Run the “flash.bat” file. The BIOS update process will begin.
5. A DOS screen will appear and perform the update. When the update is complete the window will automatically close.
6. Power down the oscilloscope and restart.
