Sony NEX-5R Digital Camera SEL1855 Lens Firmware 02 Description

Fixes:
- Enables "Fast Hybrid AF" function. Without this lens update, the camera will use the normal contrast-detection AF even if Fast Hybrid AF is selected.

Note:

- The firmware of NEX-5R or NEX-6 camera also needs to be updated in addition to this firmware update.

Important:

- This firmware update can only be performed when the lens is attached to the following cameras: NEX-5R, NEX-5T or NEX-6. You cannot perform the firmware update using other camera.
- Please make sure to attach the lens to the camera before performing the firmware update. Before you attach the lens to the camera, please make sure to turn off the camera.

Important notes:

- When performing the firmware update, please use a fully charged rechargeable battery pack NP-FW50 or the AC adaptor AC-PW20.
- Do not remove the battery pack or AC adaptor during the update; otherwise, the camera may become inoperable due to the sudden power shutdown.
- Remove the memory card from the camera beforehand.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
