Stealth Cam STC-RX36NG Camera Firmware 01.00.43 Description

Software Update:

Note: It is recommended to perform the software update using new batteries. Loss of battery power during the software update may cause the camera to be non-operational.
1. Place the Software Update Files onto the root of an SD Card.
2. Place the SD Card into the SD Card slot of the camera.
3. Slide the 6-position switch into the Custom position.
4. Press MENU to enter the menu selection.
5. Press the UP button to select the SW UPGRADE menu item.
6. Press the ENTER button then the UP button to change the selection to YES.
7. Press the ENTER button to start the upgrade process.
8. The upgrade process takes approximately 1 minute and 40 seconds to complete. The screen will display software upgrade status texts during the process.
Warning: Do not turn camera off or eject battery tray during the software upgrade process. Loss of power to the camera may cause damage.
9. After the upgrade process is complete, the LCD screen backlight will stay on and the screen text will be removed/very faded from the screen if you look at it straight on.
10. Turn the camera to the Off position.
11. Press the EJECT button to eject the battery pack from the camera. Wait 5 seconds before re-inserting the battery pack.
12. Re-insert the battery pack and slide the switch into the Test position.
13. The software version shown on the screen should now be V01.00.43 130023.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you put a freshly formatted SD card into your camera.

About Camera Firmware:

Updating to a newer firmware version than the one already installed on your camera can improve the device’s overall performance and stability, resolve various issues, and add support for newly developed features or enhance existing ones.
