This release is a minor release that fixes some specific issues that were found after the release of Intel SBA version 2.0.

This release requires a new installation of Intel SBA (you cannot upgrade an existing installation). If an earlier version of Intel SBA is installed, you must uninstall it before installing this minor release.

Fixes:

- After restarting the computer, launching Intel Smart Connect from the Intel SBA GUI was failing. To launch Intel Smart Connect it was necessary to first close and then restart the Intel SBA GUI.
- Uninstallation did not always remove the Intel SBA shortcut from the Desktop UI and the Tile from the new Windows 8 UI. This only occurred if both these conditions were true: Intel SBA was installed and customized, but the default product name was not changed (“Intel Small Business Advantage”), and the installation was on a computer with a non-English operating system (or an English operating system with a language pack installed).
- If an incorrect password was entered too many times during uninstallation, the message stating that Intel SBA is locked was always shown in English.
- In certain conditions, importing settings was not possible because the password screen shown during import did not correctly handle double-byte characters. This only occurred if all these conditions were true: the password defined on the source computer used to export the settings file included double-byte characters, and the user tried to import the settings file into a target computer on which Intel SBA was not already configured.
- For the following combinations, the installer incorrectly showed a message that the computer does not meet the minimum requirements for Intel SBA:
• Intel Core TM i3 with this chipset: Q87
• Intel Core TM i5 with this chipset: Q87
• Intel Core TM i7 with this chipset: Q87
• Intel vPro TM i5 with one of these chipsets: Q85, H87, B85
• Intel vPro TM i7 with one of these chipsets: Q85, H87, B85

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
