New Lytro Desktop 3.0, re-written from the ground up, introduces major changes and improvements:

- Review pictures on your Lytro camera before importing.
- Flag and rate pictures.
- Work with multiple Albums and Libraries at once.
- User interface improvements, especially around Uploading / Posting pictures.

How to install Lytro Desktop 3.0 Utility:

- First download the file containing the utility.
- Drag Lytro Desktop 3.0 to the Applications folder.
- Launch the Lytro Desktop 3.0 software from the Applications folder. (Or, feel free to drag it to your Dock first).
- Follow the installation prompts, including approving installing a downloaded file, and agreeing to the Lytro Software License Agreement (EULA).
- If you have previously used Lytro Desktop (version 2.0.1 and below), agree to migrate your existing Lytro Library.
- Follow the First Time Use tour of Lytro Desktop 3.0 -- you can access the FTU tour again later from top-level "Help" menu.
- Delete the "Lytro" item from Applications.
- You are now ready to begin importing pictures from your Lytro camera.
- If you experience any issues, please reboot your computer, and if necessary, re-install Lytro Desktop 3.0 after rebooting.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
