Panasonic DMC-CM1 Camera Firmware 11.0709 Description

Fixes:

- The functions frequently used during shooting (e.g. exposure, zoom) became to be assigned to the [Up]/[Down] volume buttons.
- Added the [<]/[>] button on the screen during the zoom. Became able to zoom smoothly even in during movie recording.
- Improved battery life when using Location information of "Photo Search" app.
- Performance and functional improvements and bug fixes.

Improved the function of the Control Ring:

- Before: The function assigned to the Control Ring is initialized to the default value for each Recording Mode when you close the Control Ring operation window.
- After: The function assigned to the Control Ring will not be initialized until you change the Recording Mode.

Install the software update:

- Download and save the software onto your PC.
- Preparation of the microSD Memory Card. The size of the "Update File" or more must be free on the microSD Memory Card.
- Insert your microSD Memory card to your SD slot of your PC.
- Copy the downloaded file onto the microSD Memory Card
- Please carry out full charge of DMC-CM1.
- Insert the microSD Memory Card prepared into the DMC-CM1.
- From the Home screen > Menu > Settings.
- [About phone] ==> [System updates] ==> [Update from microSD].
- After the message of "Update from microSD" is displayed, Press the [OK] button.
- After the next dialog is displayed, Press the [OK] button.
- The DMC-CM1 will start the update process.
- Once the software update process is completed, the DMC-CM1 will turn on the power automatically.
- To verify the version number, if the software version number indicates 11.0709, the process is completed.

Note:

- Please delete software file used for the software update before taking photos, otherwise it may cause the DMC-CM1 to malfunction and/or decrease the number of pictures that can be taken.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
