- If your device has a previous firmware version of at least 1.x.x this update cannot be used!
- If your device has a previous firmware version of at least 2.0.0 but before 2.2.0, an intermediate update step to 2.2.1 must be performed before. This update is available from the INSYS support department.
- Make sure nobody else is working on the web interface too!
- The power supply must not fail or be switched off in any case!
- We recommend to save the configuration first

- DHCP client requests virtual (LAN (ext)) IP addresses for each host table entry with the name "HostNameRouter_HostNameEntry"
- DHCP server: Alternative IP addresses for default gateway and DNS server can be assigned to the DHCP clients.
- Graphical indication of the signal strength for cellular devices
- Manual updates: file name, type and checksum are stored in system message
- ASCII configuration file can be exported to the sandbox
- NTP server: the router can serve as time server for local terminal devices
- Fall-back to existing IP address in case an incomplete address has been entered
- Local netmask for networks with 192.168.x.x, 172.16.x.x and 10.x.x.x remains maintained after firmware update
- Time zone difference sign (+/-) will be written correctly in the logs for GMT time zones as well
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
