Linksys RTP300 Router Firmware 3.1.24 Description

Firmware upgrade instructions:

- Before you start, be sure you are using a PC that is connected to the RTP300-NA via a wired (Ethernet) connection.
- Open your web browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.)
- In the Address bar, type in the IP address of your router. The default IP address is 192.168.15.1.
- The default Username & Password is "admin", all lower case.
- Click on the Administration tab.
- Click on Firmware Upgrade.
- You'll be prompt for username and password again. The default Username is "Admin", leave the password blank. If that does not work please contact your service provider for device password.
- Browse for the firmware file that you have just extracted. The filename should end in .img
- Click the Upgrade button.
- The router will begin its upgrade routine. Do not power off or unplug the router until the process is completed. This process may take up to 5 minutes to complete.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
