Hawking's FR24 Dual WAN Firewall Router provides cost-effective, high-level security for Small Office and Home Office (SOHO) users sharing two high-speed DSL/Cable Internet connections with true, hardware-based firewall protection. The FR24 provides two WAN ports to keep you connected in case one of the connections goes down. The FR24 is designed with the advanced Stateful Packet Inspection Firewall technology to prevent Denial of Service (DoS) attacks such as Ping of Death/Teardrop, SYN Flood/LAND Attack, Smurf Attack, IP Spoofing, Port Scan, etc. from outside intruders. It also provides Internet content filtering capability (URL or URL keywords) that allows parents to be worry-free about kids surfing on the net. The Logs and Alert features will audit browsing activities and notify you immediately via email when your network is attacked. The VPN (Virtual Private Network) Pass-through feature allows you to have fast, reliable and secure access to your corporate network via a public Internet network.

It is designed with a high performance processor and an integrated 4-port 10/100M auto-sensing, auto-crossover switch that allows you to have up to 254 users on a single ISP user account to reduce your total network cost. It also supports DMZ (De-Military Zone) Host and Port Mapping technology to allow you to host Web, Email and FTP servers.

And that's not all. The FR24 has a built-in DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Server for your LAN and DHCP Client for your WAN. Therefore there is no need to configure each IP address.
