- Fixed a bug where the system hanged up when the high load affected to the TeraStation.
- Fixed a bug where the performance of TeraStation became slow when too many files were copied to the replication target.
- Fixed a bug where the E22 error message remained even after the defective drive was replaced with a new drive and the RAID array was rebuilt.
- Fixed a bug where the E30 error message disappeared when restarting the TeraStation while a failed drive was connected and the RAID array was in degraded mode.
- Do not turn off the TeraStation until the firmware update is complete and the "finished" message is displayed.
- USB drives may not be mounted automatically after updating the firmware. To mount them, unplug and then reconnect them.
- Disconnect iSCSI volumes with the iSCSI initiator before updating the firmware.
- Connect the TeraStation and a computer to run the updater on the same network subnet. The subnet masks should be the same and the first three numbers of the IP addresses should be the same. The last number of the IP addresses should be different.
- Exit all applications. Also, stop or exit any firewall software.
- Extract the downloaded file and run "TSUpdater.exe". When a TeraStation is detected, an update window will open.
- If multiple TeraStations are connected to the network, select which TeraStation to update.
- Click 'Update' and enter the TeraStation's administrator password.
- Click 'OK'.
- It will take several minutes for the firmware to update. During the update process, the info LED will blink. Don't disconnect or power down the TeraStation until the update is complete.
- When the update is complete, a message will be displayed.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
