How to update your firmware via Web UI:
- Connect a workstation installed with java SE runtime environment to any port of the switch.
- Open the web browser from the workstation and enter the IP address of the switch.
- Enter administrator's password when prompted. The password is admin by default.
- To update switch’s firmware or configuration file, select Tools > Firmware Backup & Upgrade from the banner.
- Select HTTP to upgrade with the firmware in your local PC drives.
- Click Browse to browse your inventories for a saved firmware file
- Click Upgrade after selecting one
- Click OK to continue upgrade
- The browser connection will be disconnected, and please do not apply other changes when uploading. Reconnect to the device later when uploading completes.
- Click OK to continue. Do not leave the page or FW upgrade will be terminated!
- Wait until the “Firmware Upgrade Successful” message pops up and login again after device boots up.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
