Yakumo Mega-Image XS Description

The Yakumo Mega-Image XS is the ideal companion for the ambitious photographer. Its resolution of 5.36 megapixels CCD (effective) and 10 megapixels (interpolated), results in crystal-clear photographs. Those who want a close-up view can use the 8x optical zoom with a focal distance of 6.607 -58.27 millimetres (35 millimetre equivalent: 39 ? 314 mm) to enlarge distant images. The aperture can be adjusted to between F2.8 ? F5.58 in the wide angle range and from F3.41 to 6.82 in the tele range. It can, of course, be manually adjusted. The electronic viewfinder aids a precise search to find just the right image.

The Yakumo Mega-Image XS has 19 different programs for controlling lighting, for example, sports, self-portrait or night portrait. It also features a range of additional functions, such as serial picture sequences, digital filter, and display of grid lines or manual white balance, providing the photographer with maximum flexibility.

The flash can be detached if required and has 4 different settings, including red-eye reduction and night pictures. The camera can also record short video clips and, thanks to the integrated microphone, these also include sound. Using the video cable supplied, you can connect the Yakumo Mega-Image XS directly to your television and watch your recordings in the comfort of your own living room. A comprehensive software package offers endless possibilities for the subsequent editing of pictures.
