- When playback zoom was applied to an image displayed in the camera monitor (image display enlarged) while the memory card access lamp was still lit immediately after capture, the image was not correctly displayed. This issue has been resolved.
- When menus were displayed with the camera connected to a 4K-compatible TV via HDMI, display in both the camera monitor and on the TV was not correct. This issue has been resolved.
- Noise that could sometimes be heard when Custom Setting d1: Beep was set to any option other than Off has been reduced.
- This firmware update can be used to update D810 C firmware from Ver. 1.00 to Ver. 1.02. However, while there are no problems with operation, bright spots sometimes noticeable in long exposures, an issue indicated by some users, will not be sufficiently reduced.
- This firmware update will reduce occurrence of the issue of bright spots sometimes noticeable in images captured at an Image area setting of 1.2× (30×20).
- After upgrading the firmware and confirming that the new firmware has been properly installed by turning off the camera, removing the memory card and turning the camera on again, be sure to turn the camera off and leave it off for five seconds or more before using it.
- Do not remove the battery or disconnect the AC adapter before five seconds have passed.
- If the battery was removed or the AC adapter was disconnected before the five seconds had passed, turn the camera on and then off again, leave it off for five seconds and then remove the battery or disconnect the AC adapter again.
- The camera may be damaged if power is interrupted or camera controls are operated during the update. Do not turn the camera off, remove or disconnect the power source, or operate camera controls during the update. If you encounter any issues or are unsure on how to update the firmware, kindly proceed to the nearest Nikon-authorized service representative for professional assistances.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
