- Updated device end user license agreement and app term of services.
- Resolved device not mounting the volume in degraded mode after power loss.
- Resolved encrypted volume unable to mount with original password after performing raid roaming.

- Make sure you stop all processes and save all your data before performing the firmware update.
-This firmware update requires the user to unplug the power supply, wait for 5 seconds to re-plug, and power up My Cloud EX4.
- Effective with this firmware update, the Network File System (NFS) feature will not be available or supported.
- Download the firmware file to your desktop.
- Type the device IP address shown on the LCD in the URL.
- If you have secured your device previously with a password, enter your password and click the Login button at the main login.
- Click Settings located on the main dashboard screen.
- Click Firmware Update to open this section.
- Click the Update from File button.
- Browse to the location where you saved the firmware file and select it.
- When the Update Firmware pop-up window appears, click the OK button to proceed with the firmware update. Once the process is complete, the device will reboot. This process will take a few minutes.
- Do not interrupt the firmware upgrade process. Doing so may cause the device to malfunction or render it unable to boot.
- If you are using the manual update method, do not rename the firmware file. Doing so will cause the manual update to fail
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
