Itronix GD6000 Intel WLAN Driver 12.4.1.11a for Windows 7 Description

This package contains the application and drivers for the Intel WLAN 5100AGN.

How to use:

- Download the .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.
- Execute the downloaded file, and follow the on-screen instructions.
- After the files are unpacked, the folder containing the extracted setup files should open automatically.
- The setup program (setup.exe) must be run to install the drivers.

How to install drivers only:

- Double click autorun.exe, click Next to begin preparation of the installation process.
- Click Next to continue after viewing release notes and user guide. If the application/driver files were already installed on your computer, select to overwrite "Yes to All".
- Read and Accept the License Agreement, then click Next.
- Select destination installation folder (Default folder recommended). Click Next to Continue.
- If you get a screen about Modify, Repair, or Remove, you will want to remove your software first and follow the directions. You might be forced to reboot the system after removal. Go back to step 1 (run the autorun.exe again) after removal.
- Select Custom and then click Next.
- Click icon to the left of "Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software" and select the Red X that says "Do not install this feature"
- Click Next to start the installation process.
- Click Finish when the Wireless LAN adapter driver Installation is complete.
- Reboot the system.

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
