Veho Muvi K-series Action Camera Firmware D.E5.25 Description

This package provides the necessary files for Veho K-series Action Camera Firmware Upgrade version D.E5.25.

We recommend upgrading to the last firmware version, so you can enjoy newly added functionalities or fix bugs from older versions.

Installation steps (for exe / zip):

1. Download the firmware update and unzip the file.
2. Connect an empty microSD card to your computer using a microSD card reader. The microSD card will appear as a removable disc in My Computer.
3. Copy the file ‘firmware.bin’ to the microSD card and eject the card from the computer.
4. Insert the microSD card into the K-Series camera and turn the camera on. Please ensure that the LCD screen is NOT connected to the camera.
5. After the camera has turned on, choose [YES] to upgrade firmware.
6. Press the stop record button to move to yes and press the start record button to select it.
7. After 1-2 minutes, "Update succes" message will appear on the screen. Press the start record button to select DONE. The camera will automatically restart.
8. After the camera has restarted, turn the camera off.
9. Remove the microSD card from the camera, connect the microSD card to the computer, right click on the file ‘firmware.bin’ and select delete.
10. Re-insert the microSD card into the camera and turn it on. The firmware will now be updated. Please note that the camera will be restored to its original settings so you will need to adjust the camera back to your preferred settings after you have updated the firmware.

Updating to a newer firmware version than the one already installed on your camera can improve the device’s overall performance and stability, resolve various issues, and add support for newly developed features or enhance existing ones.

On the other hand, downgrading the camera’s firmware can recover its functionality in the unlikely event the currently installed version is faulty or the device’s performance dropped after an upgrade. However, bear in mind that applying an earlier build might not always be possible.
