What’s New in Version 314.14

Performance Boost

Increases performance for GeForce 400/500/600 Series GPUs in several PC games when compared to the GeForce 314.07 drivers.

Game Highlights

This is the GeForce Game Ready driver for SimCity, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, Resident Evil 6, Hawken with PhysX, and Tomb Raider.

NVIDIA PhysX System Software

- This driver package installs NVIDIA PhysX System Software v9.12.1031.
This version fixes a bug that caused some applications, including Unreal Tournament III, Trine, and Metro 2033, not to launch.
NVIDIA GPU PhysX acceleration is available only on systems with GeForce 8-series and later GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory.
NVIDIA GPU PhysX acceleration is not available if there is a non-NVIDIA graphics processor in the system, even if it is not used for rendering

HD Audio Driver

This driver package installs the HD audio driver, version 1.3.23.1.

NVIDIA SLI Technology

- Added or updated the following SLI profiles:
Tomb Raider - added
- Resident Evil 6 - updated
- Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army - added (delivered via NVIDIA Update)

Windows Vista/Windows 7 Fixed Issues

- [Quad-SLI][GeForce GTX 690][Max Payne 3]: Light sources are visible through walls and other characters with MSAA enabled. [1236240]

Windows 8 Fixed Issues

- [GeForce GTX 460]: Display driver crashes when adjusting images in Microsoft Picture Gallery. [1242347]
- [Blender]: The application experiences poor interface performance. [1238328]

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
