Leica S (Typ 006) Camera Firmware 2.5.0 Description

Fixes:

- GPS Iceland Bug Fix: reduction of the camera start-up time when GPS is activated in the geographic region of Iceland
- This Leica S lens firmware is mandatory to reach failure-free performance of Leica S lenses with Leica SL (Typ 601) via Leica S-Adapter L.

INSTALLING FIRMWARE UPDATES

- Download the firmware file to your computer
- Format the memory card (SD or CF) in the camera (camera menu: SETUP/Format)
- Switch off the camera
- Insert the memory card into your computer and copy the firmware file to the memory card
- Insert the memory card into the camera
- Center-press joystick while switching on the camera
- The camera and lens firmware updating process starts.

During the firmware update, you should not:

- Turn off the camera
- Remove the battery
- Detach the lens
- Remove the memory card
- The multifunction hand grip may not be attached
