Before you even consider installing this firmware, go to the system information page of the device and make sure that the version currently installed on it isn’t newer or matching this one.
If you upgrade to this build, imaging devices can get printing and scanning quality improvements, new options added to the setup menu, feature enhancements, various fixes, as well as several other changes that can boost stability.
Considering the large number of devices and manufacturers, as well as the wide variety of methods for upgrading imaging units, we recommend that you read the installation steps and initiate a firmware update process only when you have familiarized yourself with the procedure.
In addition to that, it would be best if you perform this task in a steady power environment such as the one ensured by a UPS unit. Also, make sure you don’t power off the imaging device or use its buttons during the installation, in order to avoid any malfunctions.
Therefore, if you intend to apply this version, click the download button, and install the package. Remember to check with our website as often as possible so that you don’t miss a single new release.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
