Sony PMW-F5 CineAlta 4K Camera Firmware 5.11 Description

Fixes:

- Sometimes DVF-EL100 unsynchronized display error occurs on 23.98, 24.0, 25.0, 50.0 system frequency. This has been fixed.

Notification shared by Sony:

- iOS setting for Wi-Fi Remote: While using Wi-Fi Remote by iOS devices and Safari, please turn off Private browse function.
- All file Support: All files which are created with Firmware V5.11 are not compatible with an earlier firmware version.
- Auto Reboot after ABB and APR on ProRes and DNxHD: When ABB or APR is executed on ProRes and DNxHD mode, PMW-F55/F5 automatically reboot after displaying “Auto Brack Balance OK” or “RPN Auto Detection OK ” and “Rebooting…..”. This sequence is normal. ABB or APR is correctly executed.
- Assignable buttons setting does not remain: When you update V5.11 from earlier version or load ALL file generated in earlier version, Assignable buttons setting does not remain. Please set each assignable buttons manually.

NOTE:

- The present firmware is only compatible with Sony AXS-R5 Recorder Firmware 4.1.
- If your AXS-R5 has installed an older Version please update to current Firmware V4.1 the same time.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
