Canon PIXMA PRO-1 Printer Firmware Update Utility 1.2 Description

Fixes:

- The supported paper for PictBridge printing is changed to Photo paper Pro Platinum N.
- The firmware upgrade procedures are revised.

Caution:

- The pre-existing software such as printer driver or application software will not function anymore if the firmware is upgraded from previous versions.
- Download the latest software from the download library and install them.
- A USB cable & a computer are needed to perform this upgrade.
- Execute updating in the environment which you log onto as a member of the Administrators group.
- If the printer firmware does not need to be upgraded when the Printer Update Utility is started, "The printer cannot be found" message is displayed.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
