Philips SA238/17 MP3 Player Firmware 463.729 Description

Fixes:

1.Download the zipped file to a temporary directory in your PC
2.Extract the zipped file
3.Uninstall your existing driver at START-PROGRAMS-Philips RUSH Audio Player-Uninstall
4.Restart your computer.
5.Run the setup.exe application file to reinstall the driver.
6.Click NEXT to continue and YES to accept the terms of use to complete the installation.
7.At Start-Programs-Philips RUSH Aduio player click Recovery.
8.The computer will prompt you to connect the RUSH player.
9.Remove the battery from the battery compartment of your RUSH player
10.Hook up the player with your PC
11.Press and hold the PLAY button WHILE inserting a fresh battery into the player. Continue holding down the PLAY button for another 5 seconds
12.An update screen will pop up, uncheck the QUICK DOWNLOAD box and click START to upgrade the firmware of your unit.
11.Please take care not to interrupt or unplug the player from computer when the firmware upgrade is in progress.
12.Once the upgrading process complete, you may click on the removal icon on the task tray to stop and eject the player,
when a message saying the USB device can now be safely removed from the system appear click OK, the unit should now be able to resume operation.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
