- Fixed a bug where after the firmware updates to version 2.60 or later, replication will use LAN port 1 if:
- Replication is configured on a TeraStation with firmware version 2.50 or earlier.
- Replication uses both LAN port 1 and 2 (LAN port 2 is prior to use for replication on the TeraStation version 2.50 or earlier).
- Fixed a bug where the settings was not applied if only the LAN port setting of the replication task on the replication target was changed.
- Fixed a bug where data was not resynced if the replication target or source device was changed in the task.
- Fixed a bug where replication uses LAN port 1 instead of LAN port 2 even if the replication task is configured to use LAN port 2 on the TeraStation version 2.60 or later.
- This software is TeraStation 5000/4000 Series Firmware Update Utility to update unit firmware to Ver.2.72.
- If your unit firmware is Ver. 2.72 or later version, you do not have to use this utility.
- If the TeraStation became EM Mode, firmware update might recover the unit.
- Select TeraStation 5000/4000 Series from NAS Navigator2 utility search screen.
- The firmware version is displayed right and bottom corner in the status screen.
- Do not turn off the TeraStation until the firmware update is complete and the "finished" message is displayed.
- USB drives may not be mounted automatically after updating the firmware. To mount them, unplug and then reconnect them.
- Disconnect iSCSI volumes with the iSCSI Initiator before updating the firmware.
- Extract the file you have downloaded.
- Please execute "update", refer to the screen instruction.
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
