1. Known Issue is defined as a potential RST issue that has been replicated internally by the Rapid Storage Technology team but has not been root caused to be an RST defect.
2. The RAID OROM & UEFI version for this release is 14.8.0.2377, the driver and user interface version is 14.8.0.1042. For RAID configurations, it is recommended that both the pre-OS and RST OS driver components are updated. Please contact your AE for further details.
3. No RST support for PCIe storage devices in AHCI mode.
4. This build has been validated on and supports Windows 10 TH2.
- "Offline" disk shows up as "Normal" after reinserting back into system while RAID is rebuilding and restarting system

Once Intel’s Rapid Storage Technology (RST) driver is applied, desktop and notebook systems will be able to manage the available storage (one or more drives) more easily.
And that’s not all you should expect: updating the RST version can also bring about improved storage performance, lower power consumption, faster boot times, quicker data reads, as well as several other changes.
As far as applying this release is concerned, simply make sure your system configuration is compatible with this package, run the available setup, and follow the on-screen instructions for a complete installation.
