ENHANCEMENTS:

- Removed “Transfer” button when second phone answers the attended transfer.
- Added “Play warning tone for Auto Answer Intercom” under web UI -> Account -> Call settings. Default is yes. If it is set to “Yes”, there will be a beep before auto answering an intercom. Account 1 - 6 P-values: 26072, 26172, 26272, 26372, 26472, 26572.
- Added Bluetooth patch for BlueBorne vulnerability.
- Added support for TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2.
- Added option to block image gallery options via GUI Cust Tool 3.9.0.[BLOCK IMAGE GALLERY]
- Added option to allow device to ring when “Auto Preview” is enabled. [AUTO PREVIEW WITH RINGTONE]
- Added support for displaying more Programmable keys in call interface. [DISPLAY MORE PROGRAMMABLE KEYS]
- Added support to auto download firmware/config randomly in time window. [RANDOM UPGRADE IN A TIME WINDOW]
- Removed icon for reboot from web UI -> Advanced Settings -> General Settings -> “STUN Server”, “Use NAT IP” and “SIP TLS Private Key” settings.
- Added support to remove previous upgrade notification bar when doing manual upload upgrading.
- Added admin authentication for factory reset if Configuration via Keypad Menu is set to “Basic settings only” or “Constraint mode”. The input will take effect after about 10 seconds of input.

BUG FIXES:

- Fixed device sends wrong values when using Event Notification.
- Fixed device does not upgrade based on the time settings.
- Fixed after transferring a call, device displays hold/resume interface on Metaswitch platform.
- Fixed device still shows recording hint when it is in conference member adding interface.
- Fixed critical Wi-Fi security issue that Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) handshake traffic can be manipulated to induce nonce and session key reuse.
- Fixed that device cannot configure more than 20 MPKs when connected to more than one GXP2200EXP.
- Fixed that GXV3240 cannot fully display IPv6 address in account widget.
- Fixed device does not have prompt to forbid DTMF when holding a conference call.
- Fixed device has “code invalid” prompt when recording mode is “UCM recording”.
- Fixed the stuck issue with low probability when upgrading via https.
- Fixed device does not display the call menu after receiving an audio call while using the Baudisch special feature.

Firmware updates for VoIP Phones are very important as they usually contain many bug fixes, add new features and updates, as well as add additional security features.

One of the main problems users come across when attempting to upgrade their VoIP Phone is that their device may be locked to a certain Carrier.
