Added and Modified Features

- [Cloud Storage]: Modified so that a region can be selected when configuring settings with Amazon S3. If you can’t access a bucket and its region is blank, try configuring the region.

Bug Fixes

- [SMB]: Modified to deal with a Samba programming vulnerability (CVE-2017-12150, CVE-2017-12151, CVE-2017-12163).
- [SFTP]: Fixed a bug where access-permitted groups could not access the shared folders.
- [Quota]: Fixed a bug where settings for a quota of 10,000 GB or larger could not be configured.
- [System]: Fixed a bug where a bootup process could not finish when shutting down and restarting the TeraStation.
- [System]: Fixed a bug where a failed drive could not be dismounted properly.
- [System]: Fixed a bug where settings could not be applied after the NAS volume size was expanded unless the TeraStation restarted.
- [Network]: Fixed a bug where some IP addresses and subnet masks could not be configured.
- [Shared Folders]: Fixed a bug where an NTFS-formated USB drive

Caution:

- Please consult your local technical support representative if you experience any problems caused by this firmware update.
- Do not turn the unit off until the update is finished. It will take several minutes. You will receive a message when the update is finished.
- USB drives are not mounted automatically after a firmware update. To mount them, unplug and then reconnect them.

How to Use the Updater:

1. Connect the TeraStation properly and configure the TeraStation and a computer to run the updater on the same network subnet. The subnet masks should be the same and the first three numbers of the IP addresses should be the same. The last number of the IP addresses should be different.
For example, if the IP address and subnet mask of the computer are
" 192.168.0.10 , 255.255.255.0 "
and the IP address and subnet mask of the TeraStation are
" 192.168.1.150 , 255.255.255.0 "
then the updater will _not_ work properly.
In this case, reconfigure the TeraStation's IP address and subnet mask to
" 192.168.0.150 , 255.255.255.0 ".
Then they will be on the same subnet and the updater will work properly.
2. Close all applications. Also, stop or exit any firewall software.
3. Extract the downloaded file and run "TSUpdater.exe". When a TeraStation is detected, an update window will open.
4. Select the TeraStation to update if multiple TeraStation are connected.
5. Click "Update" and enter the TeraStation's admin password.
6. Click "OK".
7. Transferring and updating the firmware will start. Wait until it finishes. The info LED will blink during the update.
8. When the update finishes, a message will be displayed.
