HOW TO INSTALL OPTIMUS Drivers

(Intel and NVIDIA Drivers for Windows 8)
1. Boot Windows 8 and logon with administrative privileges.
2. Copy the ZIP file to your HDD, for example C:\TEMP, then unzip it. If you are using PKUNZIP (D0S), specify '-d' option.
3. Open Command Prompt window as Administrator.
4. Change directory to where the driver was unzipped in step 2.
5. Run Setup.bat
6. If "Hardware installation" or "Software installation" window appears, click on "Continue Anyway".
7. Restart the system.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
