Intel Iris/HD Graphics Driver 15.33.18.3496 Description

New Features :

- Game playability and performance tuning for the latest TITANFALL and Thief Games
- Intel Quick Sync Video now enabled on select Pentium and Celeron processors as called out in the ‘HARDWARE’ section
- OpenCL is now supported on select Pentium and Celeron processors as called out in the ‘HARDWARE’ section above 
- Quality improvements for Video conferencing and Video capturing usages on the system
- Driver optimized to reduce its memory footprint
- Optimizations for enhanced viewing of Ultra High Resolution images with .JPEG extensions
- Quality improvements for OpenGL based applications
- Performance optimizations for OpenCL based applications

Custom display resolutions can now be added. To access this option:

- Right-click on an open area of the Windows desktop or right-click on the Intel Iris and HD Graphics Driver’s icon
in the Windows taskbar’s System Tray (area with the clock)
- Select ‘Graphics Options’
- Select ‘Custom Resolutions’

Added OpenGL support:

- EXT_clip_control extension
- ARB_vertex_attrib_binding extension
- Increased the maximum number of texture image units to 32
- gl_ext_shader_integer_mix

Issues Fixed:

- Resolved bad image seen when running Need for Speed games
- Resolved flickering textures in AION game
- Slugger game no longer flickers
- Resolved display corruption seen when watching YouTube videos in Windows Internet Explorer.
- Resolved display corruption seen when playing mpg file in full screen in Windows Media Player
- Resolved Corel Video Studio X6 error seen when loading m2ts or m2t files for playback.
- Resolved issue where a message ‘Windows Desktop Manager has stopped working’ popped up sometime when playing a video file in Windows Media Player
- Resolved issue where, after docking, nothing is seen on the external monitor
- Resolved issue where the built-in display’s brightness increases after system is connected to AC power and monitor is turned off
- After hot undocking from a docking station that has DisplayPort and VGA displays connected, resolved issue where nothing is seen on the built-in display
- Resolved issue where positions of Display 1 and Display 2 are not kept after changing their positions
- Resolved display corruption sometimes seen with high display resolutions
- Resolved issue where user defined hot key display switching does not work sometimes
- Resolved issue where the driver’s system tray icon disappears after changing the hotkey status
- Resolved issue where sometimes the user cannot switch to Clone mode while in Collage Display mode
- Fixed an issue where slight corruption was seen while dragging a window to the edge of the screen in Collage Display mode.
- Unigine Heaven OpenGL test no longer stops on Celeron Processors
- Fixed black screen issue on mobile systems found with older beta driver
- Fixed the issue where a wirelessly connected display freezes when changing resolutions in dual display or extended configuration but resumes after changing display configuration again

Known Issues:

- Intel Iris and HD Graphics Control Panel may report incorrect DirectX version. Please use the Hardware table above as a reference for supported APIs and features.
- Google Earth application: Display corruption may be seen when activating ground level view.
- Flickering might be seen while running Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2 on Microsoft Windows 8
- Corruptions might be seen while playing Borderlands 2 game on 3rd Generation Intel Core Processor
- With a three display configuration with video playing on the wirelessly connected display, the image might freeze in case the wirelessly connected display is repeatedly unplugged and plugged back
- In dual display configuration, when dragging the Intel Graphics Control Panel from one display to another, display corruptions might be seen on the Graphics Control Panel on select Pentium/Celeron Processors with Intel HD Graphics
- Wireless display connection might be lost while playing back video through Blu-Ray disk on a wirelessly connected display configured as extended desktop
- On a 3rd Generation Intel Core Processor, a wirelessly connected display might freeze while upgrading the graphics device driver on the system with Windows 7
- The Intel Display Refresh Rate Switching option does not show up in Intel Graphics Control Panel on 3rd Generation Intel Core Processor
- The graphics power plans do not get updated when any saved power plans are applied in the Intel Graphics Control Panel
- Running some benchmarks in full-screen may not fit the full display’s size




  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
