Intel Extreme Tuning Utility 6.3.0.54 Description

Features:

- Installation and platform support for Next generation Intel Core processor family.

Defect Fixes:

- 1504531317: [XTU] [SKX] Remove dependency between - Core Voltage and Per-Core Voltage Target, Core Voltage Offset and Per Core Voltage Offset.
- 1604401485: [XTU] [SKX] Per core voltage target can be tuned independently. If any per core voltage target is tuned above package core voltage and applied and then user clicks on Hide Advanced button then highest voltage of per core voltage target needs to be proposed to package voltage.
- 1604401508: [XTU] [SKX] Per core voltage offset can be tuned independently. If any per core voltage offset is tuned above package core voltage offset and applied and user clicks on Hide Advanced button then highest voltage of per core voltage offset needs to be proposed to package voltage offset.
- 1604401514: [XTU] If the user tunes any of per core ratio greater than 1 active core ratio, then no need to tune all per ratios and all active core ratio to the user tuned ratio, instead only 1 active ratio should be tuned to the user tuned ratio .
- 1604401537: [XTU] On Tuning Core voltage/Core voltage offset - only Core Voltage/Core voltage offset should be applied to system. P-code will automatically update per core voltage target/offset. Upon Apply button click per core voltage target/offset data will get refreshed.
- 1604401519: [XTU] [SKL] [KBL] MMIO write removed for SKL and KBL if 1 Active core is tuned

Versions:

- IOCBIOS Device Driver: 3.0.76.41_MS_Sign
- ACPI Device Driver: 4.0.0.14
- Watchdog Device Driver: 11.0.0.1013
- ICC Proxy Service Version: 11.0.0.1191

Known Issues:

- If Intel Extreme Tuning Utility is upgraded, system need a restart to uninstall the build
- MEI driver on windows 7 system requires "KMDF 1.11 update for Win7"
- 1604404330: [CFL][XTU] 1-Active Core and Per-Core ratios dependency is not working if 1 Active Core value is proposed to a different value and then changed back to same (active) value

Intel XTU is a simple Windows-based performance-tuning software for novice and experienced enthusiasts to overclock, monitor, and stress a system. The software interface exposes a set of robust capabilities common in most enthusiast platforms along with special new features available on new Intel Processors and Intel Motherboards.

This package contains the files needed for installing the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.

About Tuning Utility:

Install this tuning utility and you will be able to manually configure various overclocking values, such as CPU and memory frequencies, system clocks, fan speeds, and monitor temperature for different components.

However, please note that you're supposed to tweak these settings only between supported ranges; changing configurations to extreme values without additional cooling systems might seriously damage components.

The installation steps needed for the software to be applied are very easy: get the downloadable package, extract it if necessary, run the available setup, and carefully follow all displayed instructions for a complete and successful installation.

In addition to that, please note that it's recommended you perform a system reboot so that all changes can take effect properly. Bear in mind that, even though other OSes might be compatible, we don't suggest against installing this release on platforms other than the highlighted ones.

That being said, click the download button, get the package and set up this feature on your system. For more on the latest releases, keep checking back with our website to “stay updated one minute ago.”

It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
