Grandstream GXV3275 IP Phone Firmware 1.0.3.177 Beta Description

ENHANCEMENTS:

- Improved Wi-Fi module for security vulnerability concerns.
- Added web UI -> Account -> Network Settings -> DNS SRV Fail-over Mode. [DNS SRV FAILOVER MODE]
- Added LCD -> Settings -> Personalized account -> Account -> Call forwarding -> Call forwarding mode: Others -> “DND to”. [CALL FORWARD WHEN ON DND]
- Supported syslog over SSL/TLS. By uploading CA certificate, the syslog can be sent via TLS rather than default UDP. To upload a CA certificate, insert a SD card with the CA, then go to LCD -> Settings -> Security settings -> Install from SD card.
- Added web UI -> Advanced Settings -> GDS Settings: GXV32xx supports controlling up to 10 GDS3710. [OPEN DOOR FEATURE FOR GDS3710]
- Updated to enable automatically trim the account name and display name on web UI. For example, if the account name is “ account1 ”, then it will be trimmed to “account1”.
- Supported Robovision IP door app.
- Supported that DUT would not display unregistered account in SMS app account list.
- Added account selection for LDAP calls instead of automatically selecting the first active account when the option is “Default”.
- Added success notification for setting a recording as ring tone.
- Removed reboot signs in TR-069 page.
- Removed the Setup Wizard which was introduced in 1.0.3.171 after upgrading or factory reset.
- Added timestamp in the exported call recording file name. For example, if the recording name in Recorder app is “1001”, the exported call recording file name would be “201707101245331001”.
- Updated the feature code to enter factory diagnosis app. The updated code is “3424”.

BUG FIX:

- Fixed DUT Wi-Fi button from status bar does not work when Ethernet cable is unplugged.
- Fixed DUT only displays 50 contacts in Broadsoft Phonebook.
- Fixed DUT allows port 0 for multicast paging in MPK.
- Fixed DUT headset icon does not disappear in the call interface when the headset is unplugged.
- Fixed GXV3275 does not have login button on LCD when screen lock mode is password.
- Fixed DUT still has SD card option in FileManager menu after SD card is unplugged and USB is plugged.
- Fixed DUT displays contact name incorrectly in group SMS.
- Fixed GXV3275 does not display “recording...” during a 3-way video conference.
- Fixed DUT does not update the conference members list after the last member is removed.
- Fixed DUT LCD setting for out time forward and in time forward configuration are always the same.
- Fixed DUT automatically switches to Silent ring tone after canceling choosing a Custom ringtone from
- LCD -> Settings -> Personalized account.
- Fixed DUT updates “Re-register before Expiration” but does not take effect in time.

About VoIP Phone Updates:

Firmware updates for VoIP Phones are very important as they usually contain many bug fixes, add new features and updates, as well as add additional security features.

One of the main problems users come across when attempting to upgrade their VoIP Phone is that their device may be locked to a certain Carrier. Adding an unlocked version of the firmware may cause the device to stop working on certain networks. This operation may void your carrier warranty and, as such, is not recommended.
