The fixes below are only applicable for the following firmware revisions and devices:

HP StoreEver LTO-6 Ultrium 6650 SAS Tape Drive
- Drive firmware version O39D
- Update recommendation Recommended
- Supersedes O2BD
- Corner-case situations resulted in Space/Locate 0x5090/0x5092 reporting errors.
- An assert reset was possible on a load when re-initializing the write/read channel adaption routines.
- Writing to partitioned tapes might result in 0x5092 errors being reported on subsequent reads.
- The Cartridge Memory update failed causing assert reset due to other internal firmware processes overflowing the queue.
- Firmware race condition might cause a multi-partitioned cartridge to be reported as having only a single partition.
- A firmware upgrade over the primary port, after loading a cleaning cartridge, will fail with an 0x1C2B error.

HP DAT 72 SCSI Tape Drive

- Drive Firmware Revision WPBC
- Firmware includes fixes which address the following issues:
- Fixed a firmware issue where the drive would experience a bus reset from certain bus configuration commands if the drive was busy.

Added support for new operating systems:

- Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
