Changes:

- Fixes issue where, in rare cases, taking picture becomes dark.

Reading the current firmware version:

- Turn the camera on.
- Press [MODE].
- Select [Normal Picture] mode, then press [MENU/SET].
- Select [Setup] menu, then press [MENU/SET].
- Select [Version Disp.] menu icon, then press [MENU/SET].
- [Version Disp.] screen appears.
- It is possible to check which version of firmware is on the camera.

Firmware Update Procedure:

- Download and save the firmware in a folder.
- Extract downloaded file.
- Copy the firmware file onto a formatted SD Memory Card.
- Confirm the battery is fully charged.
- Turn off the Power.
- Insert the SD Memory Card into the DMC-SZ10.
- Press the Power button while pushing the zoom lever to wide side.
- Select [Yes], then press [MENU/SET].
- After a few seconds, the DMC-SZ10 will start the update process with AF LAMP ON and blink Wi-Fi LAMP.
- The firmware update will take about 30 to 50 seconds.
- Once the firmware update process is completed, the DMC-SZ10 will turn off the power automatically.
- Verify the version number.
- Turn off the Power.
- Remove the SD Memory Card.
