ATTENTION:

Be sure to check your router model number and ensure that you download the correct firmware file version below for your router model. Your router will be rendered inoperable if you download the wrong firmware file. You are responsible for ensuring that you download the appropriate firmware file. Your router has been decommissioned by T-Mobile and is NOT under any T-Mobile warranty. If you purchased your router from a third-party, please consult that third-party regarding any questions you have regarding your router or its compatibility with this firmware. T-Mobile is NOT responsible for any equipment purchased from a third-party. 

Update router firmware

Download the firmware

- Click on the link for your router below to download the firmware in a .zip file.
- If prompted, click Save

Note:

Download steps may vary depending on your browser.
- Unzip the file and save the .bin file to your computer, preferably somewhere that you can find easily for later steps.

Access the router admin page

- From your computer, open a Web browser.
- Type your router’s local IP address to access the admin page
For the UAT200-TM: http://192.168.29.1/ or http://192.168.24.1/
- When the login window appears, type your user name.

Note:

The default username is either admin (in lowercase letters) or just blank.
- In the Password field, type your password.

Install the firmware update

- From the router's setup page, click on the Administration tab
- Click on the Firmware Upgrade tab
- Click Browse and locate the firmware upgrade file on your computer

Note:

Find the file you downloaded in the Download the firmware section above.
- Click Upgrade
Do not reset or power cycle the router while it is upgrading.
The upgrade process could take up to 10 minutes, so please be patient.
Once the upgrade is complete the page will display Upgrade is successful. - Click continue to reset your router.

About Router Firmware:

Before you consider downloading this firmware, go to the system information page of the router and make sure that the currently installed version isn’t either newer or matching this release.
