Grandstream GXP1610 IP Phone Firmware 1.0.4.46 Description

ENHANCEMENT:

- Added support for concurrent G.729 calls
- Added option to enable/disable webUI access [ENABLE/DISABLE WEBUI ACCESS]
- Added option to hide the password on the display after dialing a specific prefix [HIDE PASSWORD DISPLAY AFTER DIALING CERTAIN PREFIX]

- Added support for certificate DN validation for LDAPS
- Added option to remove SIP error on LCD [ABILITY TO REMOVE SIP ERROR ON LCD DISPLAY]

BUG FIX:

- Fixed Phone GUI crashed after checking Broadsoft directory
- Fixed Phone should wait to send REFER until the hold process is complete when doing call park
- Fixed Phone doesn't update the "To" header tag when sending PRACK message for provisional
- reliability
- Fixed Phone sends multiple DTMF tones when in-audio method
- Fixed Phone does not provide dial tone when doing a Conference
- Fixed Transfer hard-key should work even if auto-attended transfer isn't enabled
- Fixed Phone rejects call with 488 when there is incoming call from IVR using certain soft switch
- Fixed Phone ring timeout when transferring-no-answer is too short which is 30 seconds

IMPORTANT UPGRADING NOTE:

- Starting from firmware version 1.0.2.21, downgrading to version 1.0.2.4 or lower requires a matched protocol for upgrading and provisioning under webUIMaintenanceUpgrade and Provisionoption “Config Upgrade Via” and option “Firmware Upgrade Via”.
- For example, if you are using HTTP server to downgrade to 1.0.2.4, please configure both “Config Upgrade Via” and “Firmware Upgrade Via” to “HTTP”.

About VoIP Phone Updates:

Firmware updates for VoIP Phones are very important as they usually contain many bug fixes, add new features and updates, as well as add additional security features.

One of the main problems users come across when attempting to upgrade their VoIP Phone is that their device may be locked to a certain Carrier. Adding an unlocked version of the firmware may cause the device to stop working on certain networks. This operation may void your carrier warranty and, as such, is not recommended.
