This package contains the Intel PRO/1000 firmware for the supported desktop models and operating systems.

This is a firmware update for the integrated Intel PRO/1000 NIC.
ENHANCEMENTS:
- Adds support for new HP Desktop PC models.

FIXES:

- Fixes a switch port lockup issue that is caused by fragmented data packets. This intermittent issue can result in a dropped network connection with some models of HP ProCurve Switches when operating at 1 GB/s transfer rates.

- Fixes duplex mismatch issue that is caused by a gigabit configuration burst. This intermittent issue can occur with Cisco and HP ProCurve Switches and results in slow network performance.
