HP NetBook WinFlash BIOS F.11 Rev.F Description

This package contains the WinFlash Utility and a System BIOS image for the supported NetBook models and operating systems. The WinFlash Utility is used to locally flash the System BIOS (ROM) on NetBooks operating in a Microsoft Windows XP environment.

ENHANCEMENTS:

FIXES: 

- Removes the "NOT FOR SALE" message that is displayed during the Power-On
Self-Test (POST).
- Fixes an intermittent issue where the Wireless Assistant displays an incorrect
wireless device status after resuming from Hibernation mode if the wireless
device is disabled by using the Wireless button.
- Fixes an intermittent issue where Bluetooth is disabled after resuming from
Hibernation mode.
- Fixes an intermittent issue that occurs after updating to the F.10 BIOS, where
a password may be required when the system is booted.
HOW TO USE: 
1. Download the file by clicking the "Download" or "Obtain Software" button and
saving the file to a folder on your hard drive (make a note of the folder where
the downloaded file is saved).

2. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
