HP Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver 5.00 REV:A Description

This package contains drivers for the Broadcom Wireless LAN adapters listed
below.

This driver supports 802.11i/WPA2 for a/b/g and certain b/g WLAN cards, for
other cards, it provides Wi-Fi protected access (WPA) support. This driver also
supports Cisco Compatible Extensions Program V4.0 features (software supplicant required) and provides support for "125 High Speed Mode" for notebooks with Broadcom 802.11g and 802.11a/b/g cards that support "125M High Speed Mode".

ENHANCEMENTS:

 - NOTE:  If Broadcom Wireless Utility is required, please obtain softpaq
SP32157.  Note
that Broadcom Wireless Utility is only required for users who require advanced
        user profile management, single sign on capabilities, advanced
        diagnostics, or access to wireless networks that use Cisco Compatible
        Extensions.  Home and SOHO users typically do not need this
        application.

FIXES:

- Driver rollback is now supported when driver is installed from InstallShield.
- Removed double entry for "roaming preference".
- Fixed failure to reconnect to IBSS (ad-hoc) if driver is switched off and then
on by Windows Zero Config.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
