- Switch Renaming – You can now rename your switches. Use the enhanced ‘Probe/Input’ menu.
- Dashboard variable speed intensity slider – There are two enhancements here. First, by hovering over a variable speed type outlet on the Dashboard, another small box will popup showing the current intensity % of that outlet. Second, if you left click and hold, you can drag that slider left or right, reducing or increasing the intensity real time. You may need to reorganize tiles on your Dashboard to provide room for the popup so it’s not hidden behind another tile.
- New Dashboard Help Menu – A help menu has been added to the Dashboard. This will be populated with links to other Neptune resources that will provide additional information and advice.
- Expand probe and switch names to 12 characters – Switch and probe names have been expanded to 12 characters, no spaces or special characters other than underscore “_”. Use the ‘Probe/Input’ menu. If you rename a switch or probe, the system will automatically update any programs or tiles that reference that switch/probe.
- New AFS programming wizard – To support the release of the Automatic Feeding System (AFS) a new ‘Feeder’ programming wizard has been developed. You can still use the ‘Advanced’ mode to manually enter program statements but the wizard can help you get going quicker.
- New Hydra/Vega and Radion profile types – With the release of the AI Wireless Module (AWM) and updates to the Wireless Expansion Module (WXM), two new profile types have been developed – ‘Hydra/Vega’ and ‘Radion’. These profiles will enable you to program the different color channels and intensities for these brands of fixtures.
The firmware utility loader has been improved to be less sensitive to network disruptions. In addition a new piece of software for the controller has been included that works in conjunction with the utility loader
It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
