SMART Tech SMART Board 800ix2 Firmware 1.4.0.0 Description

The Extended Control Panel (ECP) used with SMART Board 800 series interactive whiteboards and the SMART UX80 projector requires firmware version 1.4.0.0 or above. This firmware version enables mapping of dual HDMI inputs with the USB interface on the ECP.

To update the firmware on the SMART Board 800ix2 series interactive whiteboard systems:
- Download the latest firmware version for the ECP 
- Move the BIN file (0057-1.4.0.0-app.bin) to the appropriate location
- Browse to the SMART Firmware Updater
- Run SMART Firmware Updater
- The SMART firmware updater displays the model and the current version for the SC14 control panel. If the SC14 control panel has a version of 1.4.0.0 or above, no further updates are required. If the firmware version is below 1.4.0.0, you need to update your SMART ECP firmware.
- Select the SC14 Control Panel,click Next and then follow the onscreen instructions. 
- Close the updater after the firmware update is complete.
