FixedSingle GPU Issues

- GeForce 9800 GX2: After overinstalling the graphics driver without rebooting the  system, the driver vanishes/unloads while trying to disable multi GPU mode from the  NVIDIA Control Panel.
- GeForce 9600M GT: HD resolutions 1080p, 1080i, and 576p cannot be applied. 
- Quadro FX 3700M: Blue screen crash occurs when hot plugging the DisplayPort  panel.
- Quadro FX 1600M: With the notebook connected to a docking station, the DVI display is not detected when hot plugged.

FixedMulti GPU Issues

- The NVIDIA Control Panel takes a long time to open.
- GeForce GTX 295: On a Quad SLI system, the NVIDIA Control Panel shows an Enable Multi‐GPU option instead of Enable Quad SLI.
- GeForce 9600 GT: The display resolution switches to 800x600 from 1920x1200 after enabling SLI mode.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
