What’s New in Version 3.055.064:

- Enhancement of RFoFiber Testing

Fixed Problems

- Corrected the Time Error display unit to “µs” in LTE-FDD/TDD DAS testing - Fixed the error that caused a saved setup file for LTE-FDD signal analysis came back as TDD with no signal after loading the file. 
Fixed the problem that the Thru Mode setting was reset to “Off” when a measurement mode was changed.
- Fixed the error that caused the marker position set with the rotary knob was not stored with “Save Setup” and “Power On Last”.
- Corrected incorrect UI texts and messages for AntennaAdvisor Handle.

Known Issues

  - If there is no input signal available in RFoCPRI and RFoOBSAI testing, pressing the Auto Leveling menu increases the External Offset value beyond the external offset limit (120 dB)

Known Limitations

- The spectrum logging has time constraints, limiting spectrum logging for maximum 20 hours or so. The minimum capacity of storage needed is 512 Mbytes.

Firmware Upgrade Guide

To download the latest firmware :

Step 1. Be ready with a USB flash drive or memory stick with free space of 150 Mbytes or more.
Step 2. Plug in the USB flash drive to a USB port of the computer.
Step 3. Click the latest firmware zip file on the website and save it to the root directory of the USB flash drive. You can also download it directly to your hard drive.
Step 4. Unzip the downloaded file into the root directory. Ensure that there are two files extracted in the root directory of the USB flash drive: one firmware file (*.fw) and one firmware release note (*.pdf).

To install new firmware :

Step 1. Take the flash drive out from your computer, and then plug it into the USB Host port on the top side of your device.
Step 2. Power your instrument via the AC-DC adapter.
Step 3. Press the SYSTEM hot key.
Step 4. Select More (1/2) > Upgrade. The file manager window appears.
Step 5. Highlight the new firmware file (.fw) that you have saved in the root directory of your USB flash drive using the rotary knob. You can also touch on the screen.
Step 6. Press the Select soft key. The confirmation dialog box appears 
Step 7. Do one of the following:
- Select Cancel to cancel the process and exit without upgrading.
- Select OK to continue upgrading. The instrument starts to install the firmware and the upgrade status pane appears 
Step 8. At the completion of the installation, the instrument reboots itself automatically.

WARNING:

- Do NOT remove the USB flash drive from the instrument while installing the firmware. In most cases, the installation will be done within 30 minutes or so although it may take longer than that depending on the number of files to be reconfigured.
