SOHOware SCN200 Gateway Firmware 2.40.00 Description

Update Note:

Add：
1. Add MAX. Bandwidth Per Source IP option in Policy. IT engineer can customize the maximum bandwidth for each source IP address.
2. Add Static ARP option in Monitor > Status > ARP Table. The static ARP function prevents the ARP spoofing by binding the client user IP and MAC address. Or IT engineer can also download the Anti-ARP Spoofing software via Web UI and execute it on PC, then finish the client static MAC setting. Or download it again and copy the client software to the directory of C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersStar MenuProgramsStartup, and OS will automatically execute the client software every time while starting up the PC. (for Windows XP / 2000 above)

1. IT engineer can set 300 policies of URL blocking in Content Filtering > URL Blocking.

Fixed：

1. Fix some problems while connecting to the internet with PPPoE after user reboot the appliance.
2. System would write the setting parameters in hard disk Only if the IT engineer modified the settings on Web UI and click OK button, in order to
avoid system data damaged.

Software Update

- Select Software Update in System, and follow the steps below: „
To obtain the version number from Version Number and obtain the latest version from Internet. And save the latest version in the hardware of the PC, which manage the BROADSCAN „
Click Browse and choose the latest software version file. „
Click OK and the system will update automatically.
- It takes 3 minutes to update software. The system will reboot after update. During the updating time, please don’t turn off the PC or leave the WebUI. It may cause some unexpected mistakes. (Strong suggests updating the software from LAN to avoid unexpected mistakes.)
