New Features & Enhancements:

- Updated Firmware for compliance to the new regulatory EN300-328.1.8.1
- Changed the language version to 1.0.0.12

Bug Fixes:

- Keeps only the last email content in dead letter file when email cannot be sent
- Disabled SSL2 and SSL3 which has POODLE vulnerability issue
- Applied patches for Adaptive to Realtek
- Corrected PPPoA/PPPoE password has to be hidden, but changes to text mode when you focus on
- Port Forwarding should be able to accept the different external port mapping to the same internal port
- Modified the wizard for DHCP server detection.
- NAT function is only performed for the devices which are on the router’s LAN side and have the same subnet address as the router’s LAN
- Fixed SOAP SSID/Key setting for XSS protection mapping 8 special words
- Fixed the Attached Devices page cannot show connection type when device connected to guest network
- Fixed PPPoA mode, the "Round up data volume for each connection by" field will gray out issue

Known Issues:

- The Windows/MAC Genie application will scan devices (by sending ARP packets) and update the network map automatically. It will cause some wireless devices show as wired connection type for a while (until the application update the network map from the router).
- Sometimes the attached devices feature cannot get some wireless devices. (It caused by ARP packet loss).

To Upgrade:

- Download and extract the new firmware to a convenient place such as your desktop. The filename after extracting is DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.20_0.0.20.img
- Using a web browser, login to the router as admin.
- Under Maintenance click Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade file DGN1000v3-V1.0.0.14_0.0.14.img.
- Click Upload.
- Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.
- If problems occur after upgrading, try clearing the configuration by pressing the Factory Defaults pushbutton on the rear panel until the Test LED blinks (about 5 seconds). Then reenter your configuration information manually

Note:

- To avoid wireless disconnect issue during the firmware download process, NETGEAR recommends that firmware upgrade be performed on a computer with wired connection.

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.

Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed an incorrect or mismatched driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
