Improvements and Fixes

Vista:

1. Pass WHQL certification for Windows Vista.
2. Fixed: Domain login fail.
3. Fixed: UI may get stock on some operations.
4. Fixed: Default profile can not connect to the AP with the strongest signal
5. Fixed: The performance status in static page can not match the real throughput.
6. Fixed: When change profile with WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK, the encryption type can not change normally.
7. Fixed: Sometimes the survey page can not list any networks.
8. Fixed: The utility will get stuck when back from sleep mode.

Windows XP/2000:

1. Fixed: Modify lock icon in status bar when connect to encrypted network.
2. Fixed: WEP password can exceed 32 characters.

Known limitations

Vista driver limitation:

1. XR (Extended Range) not support.
2. Can?t get hidden AP?s channel, a/b/g mode and security mode.
3. When connect to Ad-hoc mode, can not list infrastructure list.
4. Can?t capture CTS/RTS packet.
5. Fragment setting doesn?t work properly.
6. Link speed always report 54Mbps on 11g connection and 11mbps on 11b.
7. Ad-hoc mode, the connection is very poor except WPA2-PSK mode.

Vista Utility issues:

1. While waiting for DHCP IP address assignment, the status bar will temporarily display 169.254.57.150 as the IP address before switching to the correct IP Address.

Windows XP/2000 Utility issues:

1. The utility can not show 108M link speed even it connect to 108M router (WGT624 or WPN824).

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
