New Features & Bug Fixes

- Added a Traffic Meter which allows Internet traffic volume to be tracked and Monthly Limits set. See the Traffic Meter page under the Advanced menu to configure this feature.
- Added support for NETGEAR Live Parental Controls, powered by OpenDNS, a router-based Web filtering solution which blocks up to 50 categories of Internet content, free of charge to NETGEAR customers.
- The Reference Manual has been updated and can be accessed by clicking on the Documentation link in the router management interface.
- Fixed an issue where login credentials were required for FTP access to the USB storage device from the Internet even when read access was set to "All-no password".
- USB events now show up in the logs.

Known Issues

- Log-in credentials are still required for HTTPS access to the USB storage device from the Internet even if read access is set to "All-no password".

To Upgrade:

- Download using the button below, saving to a convenient place such as your desktop.
- Using a browser, login to the router as admin.
- Under Maintenance click Router Upgrade.
- Click Browse and locate the upgrade (.img) firmware image file you just downloaded
- Click Upload. Wait for the upgrade progress bar to complete and final prompt to appear.

About Router Firmware:
