Teradek Cube Encoder Firmware 7.0.0 Description

New Features:

- Added support for new platforms – Bond II, Bond Pro, Slice, Edge

- Improved adaptive bitrate algorithm, adapts more quickly to bandwidth fluctuations
- Intelligent packet retransmissions

- Supports remote control from Sputnik 2.0
- Added Sputnik Direct streaming and ‘Sputnik Direct Fallback’ option
- Added IFB support for MPEG Transport Stream
- Added Auto Record to Ustream options
- Added support for backup RTMP publishing point
- Added support for PC resolutions over HDMI – (1024x768, 800x600, 640x480)
- Added audio channel selection for embedded SDI audio input
- Added audio sample rate option to encoder settings

Changes/Improvements:

- Aspect ratio was not properly detected by some software-based decoders

- Fixed Low bitrate mode not starting in ‘auto’ mode when the deinterlacer is disabled
- Some settings were not properly saved over a firmware upgrade

  It is highly recommended to always use the most recent driver version available.
